My Darkest Days, Canada’s Hottest Rock Band

During my stay in the USA I was fortunate enough to meet some really awesome and very talented musicians, “My Darkest Days”.

These guys know how to rock and party. In a really short period of time my 18 year old daughter, Larissa and I,  formed a very close bond and friendship with all the band and their crew.

Last night Larissa and myself attended their gig at the Amway Center as their VIP guests. The boys were the opening support act for Nickelback along with legendary rock bands Seether and Bush. VIP is definitely the best word to describe the way we were looked after, feeling very important in an exclusive environment, including having a real great time with all the guys including Nickelback at the after party.

My Darkest Days opened the show with a full on high energy kick arse performance with a huge finale to their set with their smash hit Porn Star Dancing.

The great news for Australia is the guys are considering a tour Downunder, and trust me when I say these guys will be the next biggest band name to tour the globe because they not only look awesome but they know how to entertain their audience.

It’s easy to see why the are the hottest rock export out of Canada touring the US currently, Porn Star Dancing is just one of their many great songs. In 2010, Norwood, Ontario band My Darkest Days became legends throughout the exotic world of g-strings ‘n’ pasties thanks to the song “Porn Star Dancing,” the #1 charting strip club anthem from their first album.

The band’s second album, Sick And Twisted Affair, means to bring the listeners along for the band’s ride through arenas, bars and gentlemen’s clubs. Heavier, faster, and darker, the new album captures the soaring highs and uncomfortable lows that come with being a hard-touring, hard-living rock band.

The first immediate benefit to creating a hit that ranks up there with Motley Crue’s “Girls Girls Girls” is expressed in “Casual Sex,” the spirited first single from Sick And Twisted Affair.
